James "Jake" Smith, age 74, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009 at his home.
He was born November 23, 1935 in the Snow community of Clinton County, Ky., the son of Marvin and Gertrude Mercer Smith.
He married Louise Gilbert Smith, who survives.
Funeral services were held Sunday, December 27, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Luther Dishman and Bro. Paul Simpson officiating. Burial followed at Davis Chapel Cemetery.
Campbell-New Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
