Monticello — Two men were arrested last week after officials discovered a meth lab at
a residence on Highway 167.
According to Wayne County Sheriff Charles Boston, the meth lab was
discovered on Monday, February 8 at the residence of Jimmy Edwards.
Arrested were Edwards and Lance Coffey. Both were charged with
manufacturing methamphetamine.
The Wayne County Sheriff¹s Department, Kentucky State Police, the
Monticello Police Depart-ment and the Lake Cumber-land Drug Task Force were
involved in the investigation.
The Monticello Fire Department assisted at the scene.
