Grand jury returns four indictments

Monticello — The Wayne County Grand Jury met on Monday, February 22 and returned four indictments.

€ Patrick Nevels was indicted for flagrant non-support.

€ Janet M. Burke was indicted for flagrant non-support.

€ Anthony Slone and Eric Baker were indicted for burglary third degree and theft by unlawful taking over $500. Slone was also indicted for persistent felony offender first degree. Baker was indicted for persistent felony offenders second degree.

€ Joshua Fairchild and Elisha Turpin were indicted for burglary, third degree and theft by unlawful taking over $500.

Jamie Branscum was indicted for receiving stolen property over $500.

Fairchild was also indicted for persistent felony offender second degree.

Readers are reminded that grand jury indictments do not indicate guilt, only that further court action is necessary in a case.

Indictments are public record and are on file in the Wayne Circuit Clerk's Office.
