Monticello — Two men were arrested on Friday, February 26, after an active meth lab
was discovered in a residence on Raines Road in Wayne County.
Officers with the UNITE Drug Task Force, the Monticello Police
Department and the Wayne County Sheriff's Department responded to the
residence, after receiving a tip that there was a lab at the residence and
that one of the suspects involved had active warrants on him.
Shortly after arriving at the scene, officers arrested Jimmy Rednour,
43, of Rt. 3, Albany, Ky. and charged him with manufacturing methamphetamine
and controlled substance endangerment to a child fourth degree.
The other suspect fled into nearby woods, but later surrendered to
officers.
Troy E. Paige, 33, of Raines Road, Monticello, was also charged with
manufacturing methamphetamine and controlled substance endangerment to a
child fourth degree.
Both were lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
