Monticello — A Bronston man died on Sunday evening as the result of a one-vehicle
accident that occurred in Wayne County.
Michael Morrow, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash at
approximately 7:30 p.m. by Deputy Coroners Anthony Vaughn and Larry West.
According to the Coroner's Office, Morrow had apparently departed from a
relative's house and was returning home when his vehicle left the road and
struck a tree at the intersection of Highway 790 and Zion Road.
The 911 dispatch center received the call reporting the accident at
approximately 6:21 p.m.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene. They were
also assisted by Wayne County EMS and the Monticello Fire Department.
