Monticello — An investigation that began in March, when officials discovered a meth
lab in the Alpha community of Clinton County, resulted in the arrest of
Randy Brumley on May 28, according to information released by the Wayne
County Sheriff's Department.
In March, the Wayne County Sheriff's Department and the Lake Cumberland
Area Drug Task Force received information about a meth lab at the residence
of Jack and Tammy Rednour of Alpha.
The Clinton County Sheriff's Department was notified and officers
discovered an active meth lab at the residence. There were children present
at the residence.
The Rednours were arrested and charged with manufacturing
methamphetamine and controlled substance endangerment of a child. Several
children were removed by the Cabinet for Families and Children.
Brumley was present at the residence during the investigation and was
found to be in possession of an unknown substance. The Clinton County
Sheriff's Department presented the case to the Clinton County Grand Jury,
which returned indictments on the Rednours and Brumley.
