The Wayne County Varsity Dance Team competed in the KDCO 12/13th Regional Dance Competition held on January 5 at North Laurel High School.
The dancers competed in the Pom Division and Open Division.
They received first place in the 12th Region in Pom and first place in the 12th Region in the Open Division.
As a result, the Wayne County Varsity Dance Team is state bound.
They will compete at the KDCO State Tournament on February 23.
Team members include: Gracie Sexton, Jordan Gregory, Kaylnn East, Callie Lemaster, Bethany Winchester, Presley Flynn, Raeann Corder, Montana Daniels and April Upchurch.
