    The Mat Cardinal will travel to Sheldon Clark at Inez on Saturday, February 9 to compete in the Region 8 Tournament.

    The top four in each weight class will advance to the state tournament in Lexington on February 15 and 16.

    Region 8 consists of Wayne County, McCreary Central, Whitley County, Perry County Central, Letcher County Central, Jenkins, Phelps, East Ridge, Belfry, Pike County Central, Ashland, Boyd County, Lawrence County, Sheldon Clark, and Johnson Central.

    Starting time is 10 a.m. at Sheldon Clark High School.
