Stella Lois East, age 98 of Monticello, Ky., passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at Somerset Nursing Home and Rehab in Somerset, Ky.
She was born September 27, 1911 in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of the late Tilden and Kitty (Sloan) East.
She is survived by one sister-Linnie Munsey.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings-Charlie East, Frank East, Lillie Ballou, Lucy East, Evy Hurt and two infant brothers.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Meadow Creek Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 17, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Gary Clark officiating. Burial was in the Meadow Creek Methodist Church Cemetery.
Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
