Middie Ellen Sexton, age 77, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at her home in Lynn, Ind.
She was born May 29, 1932 in Monticello, Ky., the daughter of the late Charles and Zora Bates Goff.
She formerly worked at Friends Fellowship Community in Richmond, Ind.
and March of Dimes in Somerset, Ky.
She is survived by her husband Elzo Sexton; children-Patty Bray of Iowa, Leona Warren of Michigan, Norma Smyth and Randy Sexton, both of Indiana; many grandchildren; nephew-David Bell; nieces-Wilma Jones, Emalene Kidd, Magdalene Lohrman, Ivadean Stamper, Joyce Hodge, Brenda Bell and Alberta McGinnis.
She was preceded in death one sibling-Anita (Goff) Bell; two grandsons-Mathew and Terry.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Lighthouse Wesleyan Church in Lynn, Ind. with Patty Bray officiating. Burial followed in the Salem Cemetery in Indiana.
Culberson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
