Anita Elizabeth Bell, age 78, passed away July 24, 2009.
She was born September 10, 1930 to the late Charlie and Zora Goff.
On May 31, 1947, she united in marriage to Alvin for 59 years, who preceded her in death.
To this union nine children were born Wilma Jones and Lee, David Bell and Sue, Emalee Kidd and Billy, Ivadean Stamper and Mack, Joyce Hodge and James, Brenda Bell, Alberta McGinnis and Bill; all of Wayne County, Magdalene Lohrman and Mike of Oxford, Ind.; 14 grandchildren-Joey and Richard Jones, David, Robert and Wiley Bell, Suzy Pitman, Thomas and Joseph Lohrman, Mack, Rosa and Victoria Stamper, Eric Hodge, and Ethan and Keyaura McGinnis; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister-Middie and Elzo Sexton of Michigan.
She was preceded in death by one infant daughter-Martha Jane; uncle-Sherman; aunt-Della Bates, whom Anita was raised by.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 27, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with James Hodge and Alan Phillips officiating. Burial followed in the Bell Hill Cemetery.
