Garland Cloud was born November 26, 1925 in Keokee, Va., the son of the late George Washington and Jona Wynn Cloud. He departed this life Monday morning, January 16, 2012, at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Tenn., reaching the age of 86 years.
He is survived by his wife-Anna Thornton Cloud, who also resides in the Oneida Nursing Center; his step son-Joe Hicks, of Monticello; and his only surviving brother-Lee Cloud, of Pennington Gap, Va.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, January 19, 2012 in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Wallace Thornton officiating.
Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
Hickey & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
