TRUMAN EBB HILL

April 5, 1943-Oct. 11, 2009

Truman Ebb Hill, age 66 years, 6 months, and 6 days, of Stearns, Ky., passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at his home.

He was born April 5, 1943 in the Bell Farm Community, the son of Rev. Walter Hill and Emily Spradlin Hill.

He is survived by his wife-Fayrene Waters Hill, whom he married on July 7, 1975 in Byrdstown, Tenn.

He is also survived by his children-Bobby (wife-Anna) Bowden of Muncie, Ind.; Melanie Thompson of Stearns, Ky. and Rhonda Michelle (husband-Anthony) Bryant of Stearns, Ky.; one brother-Freddie Allen (wife-Linda) Hill of Strunk, Ky.; sisters-Vella Dean Webb of Stearns, Ky., Ella Jean (husband-Howard) Blevins of Muncie, Ind., Mabel (husband-Ken) Coffey of Strunk, Ky. and Hazel New of Stearns, Ky.; four grandchildren-Brianna Thompson, Shayna Hughes, Tyler Bryant and Mason Bryant.

He was preceded in death by two brothers-Tyree Hill and Thursta Lee Hill; and one sister-Orene Shook.

He had been a millwright at Broderick Forge in Muncie, Ind. before his retirement. Ebb loved working with his mules, wagon riding, horseback riding, camping and spending time with his family.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed in the Spradlin Cemetery.
