DOROTHY PENDLETON

Aug. 29, 1929-Oct. 30, 2009

Dorothy Pendleton, age 80, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Friday, October 30, 2009 at her home.

She was born August 29, 1929 in Danville, Ky., the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Sexton) Brown.

She married Hobert Pendleton, who survives.

She is also survived by three sons-Hobert "Pudge" Pendleton, Jr., Don (Sandy) Pendleton and Tim Pendleton; four grandchildren-Duane Morrow, Travis Pendleton, Conner Pendleton and Carolyn Pendleton; four great-great grandchildren-Kadence Pearl, Jaxon Wayne Pendleton, Joshua Pendleton and Madison Pendleton.

She was preceded in death by one daughter-Linda Sue Morrow; one brother-Herman Brown; and two sisters-Kathleen Sexton and Dorene Renie Brown.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Daniel Richardson and Bro. Keith McKim officiating. Burial followed at Elk Spring Cemetery.

Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
