Rondal Bell, age 77, of Monticello, Ky., passed away Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Wayne County Hospital.
He was born April 24, 1932 in Wayne County, the son of the late Andy and Anna Bell.
He married Agnes C. Bell on April 18, 1956, who survives.
He is also survived by one son-Howard Bell and wife Crystal of Monticello; two grandchildren-Amelia Bell of Lexington and Bradley Bell of Africa; two brothers-Eugene Bell of Monticello and Amos Bell of Lancaster, Ky.
He was preceded in death by one brother-Kermit Bell.
He had a strong passion for serving God, he joined Canada Creek Baptist Church at age 13, and was a dedicated minister for over 30 years. Rondal faithfully served his country for eight years as a member of the military. He also farmed and worked as a carpenter.
Rondal will be greatly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bobby Morrow and Bro. Joe Allen officiating. Burial followed in Elk Spring Cemetery.
Military honors were performed by Wayne Chapter #105 DAV.
Hickey and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
